Fourth Day of Kwanzaa-Ujamaa

Today is the fourth day of Kwanzaa. The seven day African-American Holiday honors seven different principles

On the fourth day, the principle celebrated is Ujamaa Cooperative Economics, the commitment to the practice of shared local wealth and the work needed to achieve it.

Kwanzaa is celebrated from December 26th to January 1st.

The holiday was created in 1966 by California Professor Ron Karenga.
