DPS Makes Drug Bust in C

The Texas Department of Public Safety has seized 22 pounds of THC products, eight pounds of marijuana, and two pounds of fentanyl.
On Monday afternoon Troopers discovered the narcotics after a DPS K-9 alerted during the traffic stop on Interstate 40 in Carson County.
It is believed that the drugs were being transported from Las Vegas, Nevada to Birmingham, Alabama.
Two women were arrested and booked into the Carson County Jail for felony possession of a controlled substance.
