Dalhart Police and Fire Spreading Holiday Cheer

Dalhart Police and Fire Departments are taking a pro-active approach to spread holiday cheer to needy families.

They aiming for more community involvement through two fundraisers, and are collecting food items through a Thanksgiving Food Drive.

Last year, the drive fed 120 families and this year, first responders say they’re shooting to increase that number.

If you want to donate, you can drop off your food items at the Dalhart City Hall until November 10th. 

Also, a Blue Santa Drive is  in full swing, collecting essential items and toys for kids in Dalhart ISD.
