Coffee Memorial Blood Center Helping Ukraine
The Coffee Memorial Blood Center is joining in the Ukraine Fight.
They’re encouraging the community to donate blood and double their impact by saving local lives and supporting Ukrainian blood banks in the time of war.
From now until March 31st, CMBC is making a 10-dollar donation to the Global Blood Fund, a charity supporting Ukrainian blood banks for each donor who foregoes taking a t-shirt upon donation.
The Russian invasion has affected all lives in Ukraine, including their blood banks. Just last week, a Ukrainian blood bank was hit by a missile killing one donor and wounding three others.
Donors of all blood types , age 16 and over can give at the nearest donor center or mobile blood drive.
