(Austin, TX) — The Texas lieutenant governor says seniors like himself are willing to take a chance on surviving the coronavirus outbreak if it means keeping the country open for their grandchildren. Dan Patrick told Tucker Carlson of Fox News that he wants to live smart and see this through, but he doesn’t want the whole country to be sacrificed. He says people should get back to work and back to living their lives, but be smart about it. Health experts warn that a failure to maintain social distance could overwhelm the nation’s hospitals.
