Amarillo New Transit Center

The new Multi-Modal Transportation Center is one step closer to becoming a reality as the City of Amarillo continues to work on it.

The new center will be used by Amarillo Transit as well as Greyhound.

Construction started in December and is slated for completion in a little over a year.

City leaders say the main goal of the transit center is to address some of the community’s wants and needs, mainly elevating customer service and safety and security for passengers.

The previous location of the Transit Center did not have enough spaces for buses to park, and the new one will.
