Amarillo Museum of Art Announces New Art Exhibition

The Amarillo Museum of Art annual 12 by 12 art exhibition has some new rules for this year’s event.

In the past the AMoA has required artwork to be 12 by 12 inches.

This year they’re asking artists to create their exhibits to be 20 by 20 inches in size.

Museum officials say the new size guidelines will be a new feature of the 2020 exhibit and silent auction.

This years event will also be installed for museum visitors to view in-person during regular museum hours for three days, October 2-4th.

Images of the artworks will also be featured on the AMoA’s  website where they can be viewed and bid on from a home computer, smartphone or tablet.

Bidding begins at 10:a m  October 2nd and ends at 8;00 p m on Thursday October 8th.  This is the 12th year of the 12  by 12 art exhibit.
