Amarillo League of Women Voters Hosting Monthly Lunch

The Amarillo League of Women Voters is hosting their monthly lunch meeting with several school board members.
The meeting will talk about the impact of recent Texas legislation on area public schools.
Representatives from Amarillo ISD, River Road ISD and Amarillo College Board of Regents will be present.
The panel will address education legislation from the regular session, and the three special sessions that followed.
The League will also have a report on their Maternal Morbidity and Mortality study and recent and future activities associated with it.
The meeting will be Wednesday, November 17 th at noon at Dyer’s-B-Que in Wolflin Square.
