DPS To Improve License and Registration Process

The Texas Department of Public Safety will be making changes to make registration and titling easier and more efficient.

They plan on doing this by updating their computer system which is said to be over thirty years old and is outdated.

Updating the system will not be an overnight fix but over time, officials say it’ll make a trip to the DPS office a lot easier or even unnecessary.

They hope a web-based platform will improve efficiency and help Texans all over the state take care of their business online instead of standing in line at Motor Vehicles offices.
