Texas War Memorial New Hours

The Texas War Memorial Center will have new operating hours starting in February.
The new hours will include Saturdays from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Dr. Perry Gilmore, TWMC Executive Director, says the expanded hours Are due to a great volunteer staff.
The Center includes historical exhibits, including the Medal of Honor, USS Arizona, USS Indianapolis, and artifacts from WWI, WWII, Vietnam, Korea, Desert Storm, Operation Iraqi Freedom, and Afghanistan. The center’s “high-tech” Education Center has focused on the 11 wars in which the US has been involved since its founding.
