Sales Tax Weekend

This is a sales tax-free weekend for emergency supplies.

Generators, flashlights, and fire extinguishers are only a few items on the list of exemptions at stores that sell emergency supplies in Texas.

From Saturday through Monday, certain emergency supplies qualify for tax exemption.

Amarillo Academy Sports, ACE Hardware, and many local stores say they have an overabundance of emergency supplies to prepare for storm season in the Panhandle.
