Person, Building Auto Crash

Amarillo Police worked an auto wreck Monday at Southeast 10th and Ross Streets.
A westbound truck on 10th Avenue crossed traffic lanes, smacked into a person in the parking lot of a business, and continued west across Ross, hitting a traffic light control box and then into a building near the southwest corner of the intersection.
Both driver and the person hit were taken to the hospital with the person hit had life-threatening injuries
The light control box was damaged, and at 5:20 p.m. the lights were working and traffic was resumed.
