Panhandle Schools Proposition A and C

The Panhandle Independent School District thinks the passing of two propositions will keep the district competitive with other school districts.

Proposition A for school renovations, including playgrounds, and Proposition C will allow the schools to make the necessary technology device purchases.

Panhandle ISD voters passed both propositions by 64%, approving a $13.6 million package.

The District says technology has become a key part of learning for their students.

Proposition B did not pass voter muster.

But, there is a possibility of the school board revisiting the maintenance of proposition B in the future. The board will also be working with bond consultants to determine the next steps on propositions A and C.
