NBA Trades Heating Up With 48 Hours Until Deadline

Tuesday’s flurry of trades saw established stars relocate to new homes.

Portland and New Orleans kicked off the fun, with the Trailblazers swapping CJ McCollum for players and picks from the Pelicans.

Here are the full trade details:

Pelicans receive: CJ McCollum, Larry Nance Jr., and Tony Snell

Trailblazers receive: Josh Hart, Nickeil Walker-Alexander, Thomas Satoransky, Didi Louzada, a protected 2022 1st round pick and two second-rounders

Safe to say that wasn’t the biggest trade of the day though.

Just a few hours after the Portland-NOLA trade news broke, we got word the Pacers and Kings were going through with a blockbuster swap. While “blockbuster” is one way to put it, “head scratcher” might be just as valid.

Here are the full details for this trade:

Kings receive: Domantas Sabonis, Jeremy Lamb, Justin Holiday and a 2027 second-round pick

Pacers receive: Tyrese Haliburton, Buddy Hield and Tristan Thompson

These may not be the only big names to be moved in the next 48 hours, but for right now they are easily the biggest.
