Motorcycle-SUV Crash

A motorcyclist was injured after a crash involving an SUV at 34th and Western on Friday morning.

At 7;21 a.m., officers were sent to the SUV-Motorcycle crash.

Amarillo Police say the SUV was going south and turning east onto 34th Avenue, while the motorcycle was heading north on Western.

APD says both drivers had a green light and the SUV turned in front of the motorcycle, causing the crash.

The man on the motorcycle received non-life-threatening injuries and was treated at the scene while the SUV driver was not injured.

The SUV driver was given a citation for failure to yield right-of-way
