Hobert “Gunny” Brown Running for City Council Place 4

With City Council place 4 incumbent Howard Smith announcing he will not seek reelection, the door is open for candidates like Hobert “Gunny” Brown.

Brown spent over 20 years in the United States Marine Corps and has previously served as the founding treasurer for the Save Amarillo PAC.

While he does have issues that are important to him, he says the most important is being a man of his word.

Brown will hold a town hall meeting on Saturday, February 14th in North Heights from 1-3 pm to discuss his campaign.
