Hit and Run I-40 Frontage Road

Authorities are investigating a deadly hit-and-run accident that occurred on the East I-40 frontage road Tuesday.

Amarillo Police say thirty-four-year-old Lisa Bartsch Lahr later turned herself in.

When officers arrived on the scene, they found the victim – a woman – who had apparently hit a vehicle.

She was taken to the hospital where she later died from injuries.

Lahr has been booked into the Potter County Detention Center for an accident causing injury or death.

The victim has not been identified, and APD is investigating.
