Friona Liquor Sales Petition

Friona could soon be open to allowing the sale of alcohol inside the city limits.

Since the repeal of prohibition, the tiny town has been completely dry, while other parts of the county have beer and wine sales.

The city needs to push the petition through, and at least 35% of the public that voted in the last election to sign it.

Two other attempts to vote on the issue failed.

Friona residents will vote on this proposition on May 4.
