A Dimmit woman is behind bars on allegations of an improper relationship.

23-year-old Elida Celeste Bonilla turned herself in to the Castro County Sheriff’s Office on Tuesday and has been charged with the second-degree felony of improper relationship between an educator and student.

The arrest stems from a report made by Hart Independent School District Superintendent David Cox on December 21st in 2018.

Bonilla was arraigned by Castro County Justice of the Peace Flip Taylor and bond was set at $15,000. She has posted bond and was released from jail.
