DPS Drug Bust On I-40

One man is in jail after the discovery of 105 pounds of marijuana in Carson County.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, a Trooper stopped a 2019 Dodge Caravan traveling Eastbound on Interstate 40 for a traffic violation.
The DPS Canine alerted on the vehicle which lead to the finding of the drugs.
It is believed that it was being transported from Los Angeles, Califonia to Atlanta, Georgia.
The suspect was charged with felony possession of marijuana and booked into the Carson County Jail.
