Claude Future Farmers of America Wins Big In Austin

The Claude Future Farmers of America has won a state title.
The FFA Chapter’s Farm Business Management team took 1st place at Sam Houston State University on Friday for the State Career Development Event contest.
The contest tests student’s knowledge of various aspects of farm management, including business analysis, risk management, market, and budgeting.
Claude beat 59 other schools and out of 227 students Jakob Weinheimer was first, Luke Stockett was third, Jacey Weinheimer was 27th and Lindsey Monroe-Finley was 41st.
The team will represent the Texas FFA in the National contest in Indianapolis in October of this year.
