Chick-fil-A Worker Gets Scholarship

An Amarillo Chick-fil-A worker will have a little extra money to pay for school.

Fam Tial receives a $25-thousand-dollar scholarship from the company to continue her education at West Texas A7M University.

She came to America from Burma as a first-generation immigrant. She says she understood the value of education from an early age.

She hopes to become a teacher and be a positive influence for students.

Tial is one of 14 true inspiration scholarship winners across North America.

In 2024, Chick-fil-A, Inc. will award more than $26 million in scholarships to more than 14,000 of its workers.

Tial works at the Chick-fil-A on Georgia Street.
