Business Awards

Five local businesses were awarded at the 26th annual EnterPrize Challenge, Thursday night.

Contestants over the last six months developed a business plan and an investor pitch to compete for up to 100-thousand dollars in forgivable loans.

The competition was a collaboration between the WTT Enterprise Center and the AEDC.

The five winners brought back a sizable share of the half-million dollar winnings.

Each company that won represented a different company or industry from software to agriculture skin care.
