Borger Chase and Arrest

Borger police are reporting a chase and arrest on Tuesday of two people.

They’re saying officers stopped a vehicle on a traffic violation at 9th and Dixon in Borger. The driver Xavier Cunningham fled from the car before he was caught by officers.

Meanwhile a passenger was identified as Christopher Istre.

During the investigation, Cunningham admitted to having a large amount of meth inside the vehicle. Officers found in the search a total of 1-thousand and 8 pounds of the drug.

Cunningham was placed under arrest for evading arrestor detention as well as having more than 400 grmas of a controlled substance. Istre was also arrested on the charge of possessing more than 400 grams of a controlled substance.
