APD Warning For Scam Using Photos and Crime Stats

The Amarillo Police Department is warning the community about a scam that is making the rounds using actual police photos and statistics.
The scammer is saying that the photo is of the caller, and the stats are their arrest numbers and crimes solved.
APD says they will never text and threaten any citizen for money to pay for a crime.
