APD Searching For A Hit-And-Run Suspect

The Amarillo Police Department is searching for the person responsible for a hit-and-run.

On July 20th, a 33-year-old female was struck by a vehicle at the 900 block of South Georgia near the Rails to Trails area.

She was taken to a local hospital where she spent several days and still is unable to walk.

The suspect vehicle is described as a dark colored SUV, possibly a Tahoe or Suburban.
