Amarillo Using Unique Approach to Address Illegal Dumping

The City of Amarillo announced they will be addressing the issue of illegal dumping with a unique approach.

In January officials chose 11 city staff and employees to make up the Innovation Team as part of the Bloomberg Harvard City Leadership Initiative, with the end goal being to help Amarillo learn how to adopt design-based innovation techniques that engage residents.

On June 15th the Innovation Team met with city leadership to present their findings with regard to illegal dumping in the area.
