Amarillo United Methodist Church

The Amarillo United Methodist Church officially becomes a congregation of the United Methodists during a Sunday, June 4th service at Saint Luke Presbyterian Church.

This comes after a little more than three months since the United Methodist from the Texas Panhandle gathered searching for a place to worship after most of the churches in the Texas Panhandle disaffiliated from the United Methodist Denomination.

Since that time the group met at Saint Luke, starting in April.

Bishop James G. Nunn will preach during the Sunday, June 4th service.

After the service, the group will meet in the Saint Luke Fellowship Hall for a constituting conference making them the Amarillo UMC the only Methodist Church In Amarillo.
