Amarillo Mayor Hosting Tour

Amarillo Mayor Ginger Nelson will be hosting the “Amarillo Talks Business” Tour to show off recent economic accomplishments in the City and surrounding area.

Nelson will be visiting businesses all next month speaking with owners and employees and the tour will be featured on Amarillo’s Social media outlets in the next month.

The Texas Workforce Commission recently sent out information that Amarillo tied with the Austin-Round Rock area with the lowest non-seasonally adjusted unemployment rate in the state with 3 point 1 percent in July.

City of Amarillo is also touting the recent decision by Producer Owned Beef, LLC to build its new processing plant here as well as developments at Saint Anthony’s and the Santa Fe Depot.
