Amarillo Connected is currently being built to bring broadband accessibility to those who do not have it.
The network will be fiber-optic, connecting to 23-thousand homes, apartments, and businesses in North Amarillo.
City officials have brought in 4 point 5 billion dollars of business and thousands of jobs, and to keep up with the growth, they have to continually keep up with the technology to attract new business, by making broadband connectivity available to students and adults.
This comes with no cost to citizens who need the financial help
In January, the first homes will be connected and for the next 18 to 36 months the project is expected to be complete
