47th Judicial Court Appointee

An Amarillo woman is being appointed to the 47th Judicial District Court.

Dee Johnson will be appointed to the post by Governor Greg Abbott, replacing Don Schapp to cover Armstrong, Potter, and Randall Counties.

Johnson is a member of the Texas State Bar and sits on many other boards.

She studied at the University of Texas at Austin and earned her law degree from Saint Mary’s University School of Law.

Her term will expire on December 31st
