3 Dead After Wreck Near Conway Sunday Afternoon

A traffic accident east of Conway has left 3 dead on Sunday.
At 12pm, a 2010 Freightliner Truck tractor towing a semi-trailer was traveling west on I-40 slowed down when it was approaching a wreck.
That’s when a 2018 Chevrolet Traverse driven by 43-year-old Jeremy Lewis of Shamrock failed to control his speed and crashed into the back end of the semi.
Lewis and an 18-year-old and a 12-year-old all were pronounced dead at the scene by Carson County Justice of the Peace Kathleen Barkley.
The driver of the Semi was not injured.
