Xcel Energy Handles Power Outages

Xcel Energy has restored power to all but a few areas in Amarillo after Wednesday’s extreme wind.
These are individual service outages and have all been assigned are expected to be completed by Monday morning.
Customers must contact an electrician if there are damages to meter boxes or service masts.
More than 600 employees and contractors, including logistics and back-office personnel, completed 3,500 outage orders since late Tuesday.
