West Texas A&M University’s Great Books Series is back for a new installment with an important book and an even more important conversation.

On Tuesday, July 12th, the series will continue as former WT professor of nursing Dr. Deborah Davenport will lead the conversation of Dr. Atul Gawande’s, “Being Mortal: Illness, Medicine and What Matters in the End.” An eye-opening analysis detailing the ideas around aging and much more.

Sponsored by the university’s Department of English, Philosophy, and Modern Languages, anyone can participate in the conversation whether you have or have not read the book.

The discussion will take place at 7 pm on the 12th via Zoom.
