WT’s Bad Poetry Contest Returns This March

It’s almost time for one of West Texas A&M’s favorite spring events as the University Bad Poetry Contest prepares to make its return.

The event will be held on March 3rd at 6:30 pm in the Sybil B. Harrington Fine Arts Complex Recital Hall, located on WT’s Canyon campus.

Participation is open to WT-affiliated individuals as well as the general public, and interested parties are asked to bring two to three original bad poems.

Previous topics have included everything from cowboy poetry to off-kilter rants, but poets are asked to keep the material in the PG-13 range.
