WTAMU Welcoming Opera Singer Hugo Vera for Fundraising Gala

Metropolitan Opera singer Hugo Vera is set to headline a fundraising gala for West Texas A&M University Opera.

The gala will be held on January 28th at 6 pm in Legacy Hall inside the Jack B. Kelley Student Center on the campus of WT.

Vera will perform alongside students from the WT Opera program as well as faculty from the School of Music following a cocktail hour and dinner.

He earned his master’s and doctorate of musical arts at the University of Kansas and has previously worked with groups including the New York City Opera, Aspen Opera Theatre, Nashville Opera, and more.
