WTAMU Nurse Practitioner Program Ranked Number One

West Texas A and M University’s Nurse Practitioner program now has the distinction of being ranked as the best in the state for the third year straight.

Independent analyst “Nursing Process” ranked the school program as the best of 11 programs across the Lone Star State, and cited the university’s program as”innovative and research-focused academic approaches.

Over the past five years, nursing graduates have averaged a 97 percent score on the National Council Licensure Exam, and the school provides 70 percent of the nurses employed throughout the Texas Panhandle area
