WT Welcomes Home School Legend, Plus The Family Pass Goes On Sale Soon

Between basketball, baseball, football, track, and more it was a season full of broken records for our WT athletes.

Now one of the greatest athletes in school history returns to help lead the next generation to even more shattered records.

Men’s Basketball Head Coach Tom Brown announced late last week that former Buff legend David Chavlovich has joined the coaching staff for the upcoming season.

David played four seasons for the team here, and his accomplishments speak for themselves.

By the time he finished he ranked at the top of the school’s all-time leaderboards in career points, career field goals made and attempted, career 3-pointers made and attempted, as well as free throws.

If that wasn’t enough he led the program to its first-ever Elite 8 appearance his senior year, which eventually culminated in the team’s first-ever Final Four appearance as well.

David played abroad professionally in both Croatia and Australia before returning to Canyon.
