WT Runner Breaks School and National Records

Another day, another broken record for one of West Texas A&M’s best.

WT runner Benjamin Azamati ran a 9.90s in the 100m at the Texas Relays, shattering his previous personal best of 9.97s.

The time is a new Ghanaian national record and the fourth-fastest time in collegiate history.

Azamati also moved into first place for the world standings in the event.

The Buffs and Lady Buffs are in action through March 26th at the Texas Relays and the Bobcat Invitational.
