West Texas A&M University celebrated its dance program at their end of the year banquet on April 29th.
The event recognized the department’s two major performances, October’s “Falling Into Dance” and April’s “Portrait of Dance”, as well their collaborations with other programs.
They also recognized standout individuals, as junior Penelope Welch was awarded the 3D Award and junior Kynleigh Hilton was named the winner of the Treston Johnson Dance Award.
The upcoming 2022-23 dance season will include performances of “Falling Into Dance” from November 17th through the 20th, and “Portraits of Dance” from April 28th to the 30th.
