WT Honors Student Employees of the year

As a part of National Student Employee Week, West Texas A&M University honored this year’s Student Employees of the Year for 2023.

This year’s honorees were Christopher Bland, a senior computer information systems major from Fritch, and Emma Deer, a graduate agriculture science student from Canyon.

Bland was recognized for his skills in multi-tasking, problem-solving, and mentoring, while Deer was recognized for her exceptional and diligent work in providing accurate information to students and faculty.

26 graduate and undergraduate students including Bland and Deer were honored after being nominated by their supervisors.

The continued celebration of Student Employment Week will also include a part-time job and internship fair from 11 am until 2 pm on April 13th.
