The 9th Annual Helen Piehl Distinguished Lecture will be taking place Saturday, September 26 from 9:30 am to noon.
The Series, which is sponsored by the WT Distinguished Lecture Series and WT Center for Learning Disabilities, will feature Dr. Eric Tridas as the keynote speaker “FEAR: Reading, Attention, and Executive Functions.”
Dr. Tridas will discuss general strategies to manage dyslexia, ADHD, anxiety and executive functions, among other topics.
Dr. Tridas serves as the medical director of the Tridas Center for Child Development, the president of Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics Consultants, and a clinical associate professor in Pediatrics at the University of South Florida.
Additionally, he serves as the State Medical Director for Pediatric Health Choice-Prescribed Pediatric Extended Care Facilities (PPEC) and helped found Tridas, LLC, which developed an application for web-based structured interviews of caregivers and teachers called the Tidas eWriter.
He has delivered lectures nationally and internationally on topics such as dyslexia, learning disorders, ADHD, autism spectrum disorders, anxiety, and executive functions.
