WT Baseball Getting Ready for the Postseason

The #13 West Texas A&M Buff Baseball team have had a fantastic season, but now comes the real test.

With a record of 35-15, the Buffs finished 2nd in the conference behind Angelo State, and clinched the 2 seed in the upcoming LSC Championships, announced earlier this week.

Behind guys like Junior outfielder Ryan Johnson who is 2nd in the conference in batting average, Junior infielder Adam Becker who leads the conference in hits, home runs, and RBI’s, and sophomore infielder Eddie Savoie who leads the conference in runs scored as well as doubles, the Buffs have put together one of the most dynamic offenses WT has ever seen.

The Buffs will open tournament play with 7th seeded Oklahoma Christian in a best of three series at Wilder Park in Canyon on Friday May 6th with first pitch set for 7pm.
