Woman Indicted In Oldham County

A woman has been indicted on drug charges in Oldham County.

Chelse Kay Ward is facing possession charges after being found traveling with 540-thousand dollars worth of Meth and 29-thousand dollars worth of Fentanyl on April 24th.

During a traffic stop, a deputy learned Ward was traveling from Arizona to Kentucky in a rental vehicle, but her story didn’t match up with another story she later told him.

The trooper in turn searched the car and found the illegal drugs concealed in the spare tire area of the car.

She later denied to DEA agents and was booked into the Randall County Jail.
