Woman In Critical Condition After Car Crash

A woman is in critical condition in the hospital after slamming her car into an overhead road sign on I-40.

The crash happenned at midnight Thursday at I-40 and Hayden Street.

Police say the womans 2009 Chevy Malibu left the roadway and hit the sign.

She’s being treated with life threatening injuries.

Police believe alcohol was a factor in the crash.
