What Is Your Favorite Car – Ever?

The Panhandle Corvette Car Club’s Polk Street Cruise is Saturday in downtown Amarillo. There are always a lot of Corvette’s and classic cars. Which got me to thinking about the most favorite car that I ever drove. I would have to say that it was a blue 1972 2-door Chevy Malibu. That car had a huge engine in it for such a small car and it would “get up and go.”  It would peel out on a dime. That baby was probably way too much for a kid in high school and later on my dad thought so also and traded it off for a Chevy Vega. But I loved that car. It was really fast and one time I got it up to 115 mph on a very dip filled road north of Amarillo. That kind of scared me and I have never done that again. We would like to hear from you in our KGNC Insta-Poll……..
