Westgate Mall Theater

The once-robust Westgate Mall movie theater is getting an upgrade.

After being dark for three years,  the six-screen theatre is set to reopen around Jan. 26, as the “Scene One Westgate Mall Cinemas.

Prior to that, the theater was a second-run cinema where movies were run at a discounted price, after playing in normal movie theaters.

Scene One Entertainment now owns the theatre and plans to show first-run movies.

They’re promising low ticket family-based prices and will be the first Scene One Entertainment theatre in Texas.
