West Texas A&M Extended Studies Workshop Program

One of Amarillo’s most highly regarded organizers will lead a two part events planning course through West Texas A&M University’s Extended Studies program.

Executive director of Center City of Amarillo Beth Duke will lead “Building Successful Events: The Nuts and Bolts of Event Planning” from 9 am to 12pm Jan. 21st and 28th.

The event will take place in the Harrington Academic Hall WTAMU Amarillo Center, located at 720 South Tyler Street.

Duke said she always gets questions about planning and now she will give the answers.

The workshop will cover basics like planning, budgeting and organization, as well as more specific hurdles, like city permits and Covid-related challenges.

Cost is $99.
