Rangers’ Pitchers, Catchers Workout Today
(Surprise, AZ) — Rangers’ pitchers and catchers have reported and will hold their first spring training workout today in Surprise, Arizona. The Rangers signed former University of Texas right-hander Taylor Jungmann to a minor league contract after he spent the last two years in Japan. The Brewers drafted him in the first round in 2011 and he went 9-and-13 with a 4.54 ERA in 30 appearances, 27 of them starts, over three seasons. Cactus League play will begin February 21st against the Royals at Surprise Stadium.

Family Holds Private Funeral For Kobe Bryant, Daughter

Entertainment Tonight reports there was a private funeral for the two in Corona Del Mar, California on Friday. Kobe and Gianna were among nine people killed in a helicopter crash near Calabasas on January 26th.
