Wednesday Sports Update – Rangers Take Indians In 12 Innings

(Cleveland, OH) — Joey Gallo and Isiah Kiner-Falefa hit back-to-back home runs in the 12th inning as the Rangers outlasted the Indians 8-6 at Progressive Field. Kiner-Falefa went 4-for-6 to help Texas snap a two-game slide. Alex Claudio pitched three innings of scoreless relief to get the win. Delino DeShields and Nomar Mazara also homered for the Rangers, who blew a 6-2 lead in the ninth when Michael Brantley belted a grand slam.

Yankees Top Astros With Four-Run Ninth

(Houston, TX) — Gary Sanchez broke up a scoreless game with a three-run homer in the top of the ninth inning and the Yankees went on to beat the Astros 4-0 at Minute Maid Park. Ken Giles was roughed up for all four runs while retiring just one batter to take the loss for Houston. Justin Verlander struck out 14 over eight innings of three-hit ball in a no-decision. The ‘Stros had their three-game winning streak snapped.

Rockets Host Jazz Tonight In Game Two

Cowboys Hold Rookie Minicamp Next Week

(Frisco, TX) — Up next in the offseason for the Cowboys is a three-day rookie minicamp next week. The camp will be held May 11th through 13th. OTA’s will begin May 22nd and run through June 6th, with a total of 10 voluntary sessions. Mandatory minicamp is set for June 12th through 14th.
